Damascus, SANA- People’s Assembly Speaker Hammoudeh Sabbagh described as strong and deeply -rooted the relations binding Syria and Iran.
Meeting with Mehdi Subhani the Iranian Ambassador in Damascus, Sabbagh hailed Iran’s supporting stances for Syria, indicating the importance of keeping on promoting relations in various fields for the interests of the two countries.
Sabbagh notified that the repeated aggressions of Zionist entity on Syrian lands are hopeless attempts aimed at destabilizing Syria.
The Iranian ambassador condemned the Israeli brutal aggression on Syria confirming its counrty’s solidarity in confronting the terrorism.
Sabbagh received an official invitation to visit Iran from Iranian Speaker of the Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf.
