Lattakia, SANA-Under the patronage of the Commander-in-Chief of the Army and Armed forces, President Bashar al-Assad, and on the occasion of the 74th anniversary of the Navy forces and Coastal Defense Day, a celebration was held for the graduation of a new batch of the Navy Faculty students.
Lieutenant General Abdul-Kareem Ibrahim, the Army chief of Staff, attended the celebration as a representative of President al-Assad to the event.
General Ibrahim conveyed President al-Assad’s congratulations to the graduates, wishing them more success in performing their duties.
The Syrian Navy also held a parade celebrating its foundation day as military boats and ships and a number of Russian friendly navy ships participated in the event.
