Syria and Serbia to enhance cooperation in sports domain

Belgrade, SANA- The Chargé d’Affairs of the Syrian Embassy in Belgrade, Acting Minister, Dr. Ammar Awad, discussed on Thursday with the Serbian Assistant Minister of Youth and Sports, Orus Pribevic, ways to enhance and develop the bilateral relations, especially in sports domain.

Awad ,during the meeting, hailed the support offered by friendly states of Syria against the unjust terrorist war been waged against it.

He also expressed the keenness of Syrian General Sports Federation on establishing closer relations and cooperation with the Serbian Ministry of youth and Sports in all sports fields.

In turn, Pribevic described Syrian-Serbian relations as strong, thanking the Syrian government for its support to the sovereignty and unity of Serbian territories, hoping best relations would be established with the Federation in Syria, especially in the field of sports medicine and providing consultation and advice to avoid sports injuries.
