Zelensky and US are responsible for bloody massacre against Ukrainian prisoners, Russian Defense

Moscow, SANA- The President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky and the US bear all political, criminal and moral responsibility for the bloody massacre against Ukrainians in the pre-trial detention center in Yelenovka, Donbass, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense, General Igor Konashenkov said.

Konashenkov said that as a result of a deliberate missile attack from the American HIMARS MLRS, 193 Ukrainian prisoners in the pre-trial detention center in Yelenovka were killed or maimed.

“50 Ukrainian prisoners of war died, 73 were wounded , the bodies of 48 of in the pre-trial detention center in Yelenovka were discovered and two Ukrainian prisoners of war died from severe injuries while being transported to a medical facility,” Konashenkov added.

The necessary assistance was provided to 73 wounded, he noted.

The Russian Defense Ministry had announced that Kyiv regime forces shelled a prison in Donbass included Ukrainian prisoners of war, killing and injuring a number of them.
