Syria, DPRK affirm solid bilateral relations

Damascus, SANA- Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Fayssal Mikdad, affirmed that the joint efforts exerted over decades between Syria and The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) contributed to boosting the bonds of friendship and cooperation between peoples of the two countries at various levels.

That came during an exchange of congratulation messages between Minister Mikdad and DPRK Foreign Minister Choe Son on the occasion of the 56th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Syria and the DPRK.

Minister Mikdad indicated that the joint efforts of the leaderships in the two countries over decades have resulted in achieving important gains and contributed to strengthening the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two peoples, stressing Syria’s keenness on continuing this cooperation and to make all possible efforts to strengthen and develop it to include broader areas in a way that achieves common benefits the two friendly countries and peoples.

Choi Sun affirmed described as deep the relations of cooperation and friendship between the two friendly countries, expressing her confidence in achieving more of this cooperation and developing bilateral relations, and her belief that these relations will grow stronger in the future.
