Washington immorally escalated its coercive measures on Syria, says Czech analyst

Prague, SANA-  Czech political analyst Filip Endler said that the United States has immorally escalated its unilateral coercive economic measures that it is imposing on Syria.

“Washington, through these sanctions, obstructed efforts to rebuild Syria and deteriorated economic conditions,” Endler said in an article published on a Czech website.

He added that instead of stopping these measures during the Coronavirus outbreak, the US unethically doubled them.

Endler said that the United States considers that its domestic laws are above international laws and it arbitrarily imposes illegitimate unilateral sanctions on other countries, similar to what it is doing against Syria, Iran, Venezuela and Cuba.
