Health Ministry: A significant decrease in Covid-19 infections in Syria

Damascus, SANA -The Ministry of Health affirmed that infections with the Covid-19 recorded a significant drop during the last period.

Director of Primary Health Care at the Ministry of Health, Dr. Razan al-Tarabishi, indicated in a statement to SANA that there has been a drop in Covid-19 infections accepted in hospitals in the governorates, indicating that there is no infection in hospitals for a patient who already received the anti-virus vaccine, which confirms its effectiveness in terms of reducing the severity of infection and its complications, and thus the need for intensive care.

Dr. al-Tarabishi recommended the necessity of receiving the vaccine, noting that increasing the number of people who are immunized and raising coverage rates limit the spread of infection in society and ensure the safety of everyone.
