Donetsk, SANA- The Donetsk Republic has declared that 17 Ukrainian servicemen laid down their arms and voluntarily surrendered to its forces within the last 24 hours.
The People’s Forces Command said in a statement on Monday that 12 soldiers from the 54th Mechanized Brigade and five from the 25th Brigade of the Ukrainian Army surrendered.
The statement noted that these soldiers laid down their arms and voluntarily surrendered to the popular forces.
