Peskov: Sending NATO peacekeepers to Ukraine is reckless idea

Moscow, SANA- Sending NATO peacekeepers to Ukraine is a reckless and very dangerous step, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov stressed.

“A special military operation is being carried out in Ukraine, and any possible contact between our military forces and NATO forces could lead to serious consequences that would be hard to repair”, RT website quoted Peskov as saying in a statement on Wednesday.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov had warned that sending NATO peacekeeping forces to Ukraine could lead to a direct clash between Russia and the NATO.
