Syrian, Belarusian talks to enhance bilateral cooperation

Minsk, SANA- First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Sergei Aleinik, discussed on Thursday with Syria’s Ambassador in Minsk, Mohammad al-Omrani, means of enhancing cooperation and coordination at international forums to face challenges to which the two countries are exposed.

During the meeting, the Syrian Ambassador handed over the Belarusian official a message of congratulation sent by President Bashar al-Assad to Belarusian counterpart, Alexander Lukashenko on the success of referendum that amends the Belarusian constitution.

Mr. Aleinik said his country thanks Syria for the message of congratulation which reflects the strong relations between the two countries.
