Damascus, SANA- Minister of Education, Dr. Darem Tabbaa, discussed on Tuesday with the Norwegian Refugee Council’s Regional Director for the Middle East, Carsten Hansen, means of enhancing cooperation between the two sides in the educational field.
Minister Tabbaa pointed out that coordination with the Council started last year through a three-year plan that focuses on developing the educational system through partnership with relevant organizations, referring to the programs implemented by the Ministry in cooperation with the Syrian Trust for Development in the fields of self-learning and the Category B curriculum.
In turn, Hansen expressed the Council’s continued support to students in Syria and to provide the requirements for setting up joint projects in various fields of education and securing fund for them.
