Baghdad, SANA – Seven Iraqis were killed and 21 others were injured Sunday in a terrorist attack by an explosive device near a restaurant in Harj market at Bab Sharqi area in central Baghdad.
A Police source said in a statement that security forces cordoned off the area around the explosion site, and the victims and injured people were transported to a nearby hospital, Iraqi media reported.
Earlier on the day, a security source said an explosion rocked central Baghdad, while its nature and casualties were not reported yet.
