Hama, SANA – Education Directorate of Hama has appropriated SYP 85 million for rehabilitation and repair works that will target hundreds of school buildings in the province during 2015.
School Buildings Department at the Directorate, Yasser Ismael, said in a statement to SANA on Sunday that the plan involves repairing 600 schools all across the central province.
Hama Education Directorate spent about SYP 120 million on restoring and repairing schools in 2014. Schools and institutes affiliated to the Directorate that are actually in service in the province total 1600 buildings.
