Temperatures below average, cold weather at night

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will remain from 1 to 3 degrees lower than average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by south western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the weather will be clear to partly cloudy in general and cold at night, particularly over mountains.

The wind will be changeable to easterly with low speed and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 25/13, Homs 26/14 ,Tartous  29/19 ,Lattakia 28/19 ,Aleppo 26/13.
