President al-Assad issues decree on forming new Cabinet, chaired by Hussein Arnous

Damascus, SANA- President Bashar al-Assad on Tuesday issued decree no. 208 for year 2021 on forming the new Syrian cabinet, chaired by Eng. Hussein Arnous, as follows;

  • Eng. Hussein Arnous as Prime Minister.
  • Major General Ali Abdullah Ayyoub as Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister.
  • Mohammad Abdelsattar al-Sayyed as Minister of Religious Endowments.
  • Mansour Fadlallah Azzam as Presidential Affairs Minister.
  • Hussein Makhlouf as Local Administration and Environment Minister.
  • Salam Mohammad al-Saffaf as Minister of Administrative Development.
  • Mohammad Samer al-Khalil as Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade.
  • Mohammad Khaled al-Rahmoun as Interior Minister.
  • Mohammad Rami Martini as Tourism Minister.
  • Bassam Ibrahim as Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
  • Suhail Abdullatif as Minister of Public Works and Housing.
  • Iyad al-Khatib as Communications and Technology Minister.
  • Lubana Mshaweh as Culture Minister.
  • Darem Tabbaa as Education Minister.
  • Ahmad al-Sayyed as Minister of Justice.
