Damascus, SANA- The Health Ministry announced on Sunday that 27 new coronavirus case were recorded in Syria, adding that 5 coronavirus patients recovered and 3 others passed away.
In a statement, the Ministry said that the total number of the coronavirus cases recorded in Syria has reached 24,467, of which 21,598 have recovered and 1,766 have passed away.
The first coronavirus case was recorded in Syria on March 22nd last year in a person who came from abroad, while the first death was registered on the 29th of the same month.
