Syrian athlete Maan Asaad wins 3 silver medals at Asian Tashkent Championships

Tashkent-SANA- Athlete Maan Asaad of Syrian weightlifting team won three silver medals on Sunday at the Asian Men’s Championships over 109 kg, held in Tashkent, which qualifies for Tokyo Olympics.

Asaad managed to lift 195 Kg in the snatch in the first silver medal, and the second one in 238 kg, and the third in the overall total of 433 kg.

The Syrian athlete approaches to qualify for Tokyo Olympics after winning the three medals in the Asian Championships waiting for the international classification.
