Health Ministry: 54 new coronavirus cases recorded, 81 patients recover, 7 pass away

Damascus, SANA- The Health Ministry announced on Tuesday that 54 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Syria, adding that 81 coronavirus patients recovered and seven others passed away.

In a statement, the Ministry said that the total number of the coronavirus cases recorded in Syria has climbed to 15,696 up till now, of which 9,961 have recovered and 1,039 have passed away.

The first coronavirus case was recorded in Syria on March 22^nd last year in a person who came from abroad, while the first fatality was registered on the 29^th of the same month.
