Worldwide coronavirus death toll nears two million and 236 thousand  

Capitals, SANA- The novel coronavirus pandemic has claimed the lives of 2,236,000 people worldwide since its appearance in December 2019.

According to the American Worldometers website, the total number of coronavirus infections globally has reached up to 103, 494, 229, while the recoveries have amounted to 22, 368,35.

The US still tops the worst-affected countries by the coronavirus in terms of the recorded infections and deaths after recording 45,2192 deaths out of 26,761,838 infections, while India comes in the second place after registering 154,407 deaths out of 10,753,351 infections, then come Brazil after recording 224,504 deaths out of 9,204,731 infections.
