Damascus, SANA- The Cabinet approved on Tuesday Syria’s access to KOVACS initiative, through the World Health Organization, after resolving some of the pending points to secure the safe vaccine against Coronavirus as quickly as possible.
The Cabinet added in its weekly session, headed by Prime Minister, Hussein Arnous, that it has asked the Ministry of Health to take the necessary measures, in that regard, and continue negotiations with friendly countries to import the vaccine and secure it for citizens, stressing the need to stick to the measures taken to confront the Coronavirus.
It decided to allocate an additional 1.560 billion SYP to complete the payment to the farmers affected by the fires.
