Aleppo, SANA- Aleppo Governor Mohammad Marwan Olabi affirmed on Monday the city’s commitment to provide requirements of work to the industrial city in al-Sheikh Najar due to its economic importance for the whole country.
The Governor toured the industrial city of Sheikh Najar in Aleppo, inspecting a number of factories that returned to production and following up the process of rehabilitation and maintenance to a number of public utilities.
Meeting a number of industrialists in the city, the Governor affirmed that the government seeks to ensure the demands of industrialists and solve a number of problems which face them, increase the city’s portion of the oil products, in addition to enhancing the maintenance of electric net.
Director of the city Mohammad Hindiya said the number of active and productive factories in the city reached at 310 which manufacture different kinds of food, textile and chemicals.
For their part, a number of industrialists called for tackling some problems to develop industry , most importantly, the lack of fuel and electricity.
