Hasaka, SANA-The General Electricity Company of Hasaka restored the electrical supply to Tal Tamer transmission power station after which came under shelling attack by the Turkish occupation forces.
Director of Hasaka Electricity Department, Anwar al-Okleh, told SANA that the maintenance workshops have finished repairing the damages caused by the Turkish occupation forces ’assault, and the electrical lines connected to the station have been fed, especially Tal Tamer town line and the surrounding villages.
Tal Tamir power station goes out of service due to shelling attack by Turkish occupation
Ealier, Tal Tamir power station, northwest of Hasaka, has gone out of service after the Turkish occupation forces and their mercenaries of terrorist organizations launched a shelling attack on the station.
Al-Okleh said that the Turkish occupation troops on Wednesday attacked with mortar shells the vicinity of Tal Tamer township, where several shells fell on Tal Tamer power station, and the station went out of service.
Okleh noted that the company’s workshops have entered the station and inspected the damages which were limited to cutting the lines feeding Zarkan and Tal Tamer, in addition to causing a damage to the external wall of the station.
He indicated that work is underway to repair the damage in preparation for putting the station into service again.
Turkish occupation troops and its mercenaries deployed in Ras al-Ain city and its countryside have repeatedly targeted the infrastructure and service facilities in the northern and western countryside of the province to deprive the locals of their services, as the power transmission station of Tal Tamer, and the power lines and networks feeding it have been targeted for the fifth time since their deployment in this region.
