Health Ministry: 87 coronavirus cases registered, 57 patients recovered, 5 passed away

Damascus, SANA- -Health Ministry on Monday announced that 87 new Coronavirus cases were registered in Syria, and 57 patients have recovered while 5 others have passed away.

In a statement to SANA, the Ministry indicated that the total number of Coronavirus infections registered in the country till now has reached up to 8,490, of which 4,000 ones have recovered while 452 others have passed away.

The first Coronavirus case was registered in the country on March 22^nd while the first fatality was reported on 29th of the same month.
