Tehran, SANA- Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif expressed his condolences over demise of Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Walid al-Moallem.
In a condolences message he sent to Prime Minister Hussein Arnous on Monday, Zarif said that
“during his lifetime, al-Moallem played an important role in serving and defending the national interests and security of his country.”
“With a great sorrow and sadness, we have received the news of the death of Minister al-Moallem,” the Iranian official said.
“I would like to express my condolences to your Excellency, the family of the deceased and my colleagues at the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for this loss,” Zarif concluded.
