Quneitra firefighting staffs continue to extinguish fire set by Israeli occupation forces in liberated region

Qunaitra, SANA – The personnel of Qunaitra Fire Brigade and Forest Department at Agricultural Directorate in the province continued to extinguish fires set by Israeli Occupation forces on Monday dawn in the liberated part near barbed wire in Ayn Al-Tina site, east of the occupied town of Majdal Shams.

Head of Qunaitra Fire Brigade, Feras Samara told SANA reporter that the nature of mountainous region, valleys, and rugged lands impede the work of firefighters and that contributed to extending the fires and damaged areas.

For his part, Director of Qunaitra Agricultural Department , Hussein Sallan said that the fire caused damages to farmers’ properties ,cherry orchards and large areas of the cultivated and pastoral lands.
