Hasaka, SANA- US occupation warplanes have attacked a checkpoint for the Syrian Arab Army southeast of Qamishli as a soldier was martyred and two others were injured.
A military source told SANA that “At 9:45 a.m., a US patrol tried to enter the area where one of our military formations is deployed in Qamishli countryside through Tal al-Zahab checkpoint, and the army personnel at the checkpoint prevented it from passing, therefore, the members of the US patrol opened several rounds of fire.”
The source added that “after about 30 minutes, two US warplanes attacked the army personnel at the checkpoint with heavy machineguns as a soldier was martyred and two others were injured.”
Earlier, SANA reporter in Hasaka said that US warplanes on Monday morning attacked a checkpoint for the Syrian Arab Army in Qamishli countryside after the soldiers at the checkpoint prevented a patrol for the US occupation from passing as a soldier was martyred and two others were injured and they were rushed to al-Qamishli National Hospital to receive the required treatment.
Since the US occupation forces established their illegitimate bases, the locals in a number of villages in Hasaka countryside, backed by the Syrian Arab Army, have intercepted many convoys of the occupation while they were trying to move between the villages and towns near the areas where they are deployed and they forced them to leave and return back to where they came from after throwing stones at them in affirmation of their rejection of the presence of the US occupation troops on the Syrian territories.
