Drug dealers arrested in Damascus, 6 kg of hashish seized

Damascus, SANA – The Interior Ministry announced on Monday that the Anti-Narcotics Department in Damascus arrested two drug dealers and confiscated 6.6 kg of hashish.

The Ministry said in a statement to SANA that acting upon information received about drug dealers in Damascus and its countryside, the Anti-Narcotics Department in Damascus pursued and monitored the suspects, which led to arresting two drug dealers in al-Zahera and Daf Shouk areas and seizing a total of 6.6 kg of hashish found in their possession.

The two confessed to dealing in drugs and named a number of their buyers who are currently hiding, and investigations are underway to arrest all persons involved.
