Beirut, SANA- Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament Nabih Berri discussed Monday with the Syrian Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Abdul-Kareem bilateral
relations between the two countries and the takfiri terrorism that poses a threat to the region.
In a statement following the meeting, Abdul-Kareem affirmed that the steadfastness of the Syrian people and army gives indicators to reconsider the
international policy that bet on that terrorism.
The Syrian Ambassador said Berri has affirmed the need for coordination between the two countries in the interests for Lebanon and Syria, adding that
there is no way to escape this truth in order to guarantee victory over terrorism.
