Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will drop to become around or slightly above average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the skies will be between clear to partly cloudy in general to become cloudy in the afternoon, heavy rain showers are expected over various areas accompanied with thunder over the coastal and northwestern areas, while the weather will be dusty in the eastern and al-Badia areas
The wind will be western to southwestern of low to active in speed and the sea waves will be low to moderate in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 25/13, Homs 23/11, Hasaka 24/12, Lattakia 22/13 and Deir Ezzor 28/18.
