Damascus, SANA_ The World Health Organization (WHO) denied what was circulated by some social media pages about an alleged declaration that Syria will overcome Coronavirus “Covid-19” pandemic in 21 days.
In a statement posted on its Twitter page, WHO clarified that there is no so-called “WHO Coordinating Committee” to which the statement was attributed.
“It is not possible to predict developments of the pandemic and future cases of the disease in Syria or in any other country.” According to WHO.
On Thursday, Health Ministry announced that 16 coronavirus infections were registered in Syria, two of which have died.
