Deir Ezzor, SANA – The number of new students who have been accepted to al-Furat university for the 2014-2015 academic year reached 18013.
Director of the Department of Central Students Affairs at the University Mohammad Jalal al-Ahmad said in a statement to SANA reporter on Tuesday that those include 14552 students admitted in the public system and 3461 in the parallel system.
The newly accepted students will be enrolled in the colleges affiliated to al-Furat University in Deir Ezzor, Raqqa and Hasaka as follows: 9134, 2858 and 6021 respectively.
Rector of the University Ali al-Ali affirmed that all educational process requirements have been prepared and the needed teaching staff members have been assigned.
He pointed out that the total number of the students has reached 100,000.
