Heavy rainfalls expected, snow over the mountains

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will remain from 2 to 4 degrees below average as the country is affected by a low air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere accompanied by cold and wet air mass.

Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the skies will be partly cloudy to cloudy and rainy and the rainfalls will be heavy sometimes, particularly over the western and the southern regions, and snow will fall over the mountains whose height exceeds 1100 meters.

The wind will be southwesterly with a low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be high in amplitude.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 8/3, Daraa 9/4, Homs 9/5, Lattakia 11/7, Aleppo 11/5 and Deir Ezzor 10/5.
