Damascus, SANA – The Cabinet approved the national strategy for developing the wheat crop in the fields of production and marketing to achieve optimal productivity at a targeted annual production rate of 5 million tons in 2025.
This came during a weekly Cabinet session chaired by Prime Minister Imad Khamis, in which the Cabinet also approved a program for increasing agricultural exports by improving product quality.
The Cabinet also allocated a grant of SYP 500 million to Hasaka province to ensure the continuation of basic services in it.
