Algiers, SANA _ – The 28th General Assembly of the Alliance of Mediterranean News Agencies (AMAN) concluded its activities on Wednesday with the participation of Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) and 15 news agencies from Mediterranean countries .
The general Assembly adopted its annual report regarding the activities of AMAN on medial level and the joint activities among the members agencies.
The report called for boosting the role of news agencies to face the media falseness and to use modern technologies to access a wider spectrum of audience, and create work mechanisms that help news agencies compete in the up-to-date press world.
It hailed the active participation of SANA at media platforms of AMAN.
AMAN includes Syria, Algeria, Egypt, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Lebanon, Libya, Tunisia, Palestine, Greece, Cyprus, Albania, Serbia, Croatia, Mauritania, Morocco and Turkey.
