Damascus, SANA- Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources announced putting (Deir Attyieh 2) gas well into service with a depth that reaches up to 3,620 meters thanks to the efforts exerted by the cadres of the Syrian Petroleum Company.
A statement by the Ministry said that the cadres of the Ministry are making the final tests on the well to make sure of its readiness to be put into service.
The statement added that the well is expected to produce from 450 to 600 thousand cubic meters of gas daily and about 150 barrels of condensates.
Last November, (Deir Attyieh2) gas well with a depth of 3,741 meters and a production capacity of about 150 thousand cubic meters of gas daily after it has been closed throughout the years of the terrorist war waged against Syria.
