Syria wins Gold medal in the FAZAA International Para Athletics Championship

Nur- Sultan, SANA- Noura Baddour of the Syrian national team for special sports won a bronze medal at 2019 World Para Powerlifting Championships being currently  held in Kazakhstan qualifying for Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.

Baddour was able to lift 90 in the women’s up to 41kg and qualified for Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.

Syrian Players Rasha al-Sheikh, Fatima al-Hassan, and Shadi Issa are also participating in the competition.
