Grospic: Coercive economic measures imposed on Syria target its people

Prague, SANA- Head of the Czech Parliamentary Group for Friendship with Syria Stanislav Grospic affirmed that the unilateral coercive economic measures imposed on Syria target its people and causes their suffering.

In a statement to SANA reporter in Prague, Grospic said that the Western media is ignoring the fact that terrorists backed by the US occupation troops are in control of some oil fields in Syria and it is ignoring the acts of burning some wheat paddies intentionally by Washington’s agents which represents a shame.

He noted that Syria has remained steadfast over the eight-year war launched against by terrorists and their backers which include some Western and Arab and regional states who wanted to implement foreign agendas.
