Damascus, SANA-First religious Judge in Damascus, Mahmoud Ma’arawi, announced on Monday that Wednesday June 5th, 2019 will be the first day of Eid al-Fitr in Syria.
“The crescent of Shawal wasn’t seen on Monday, so the first day of Shawal will come on Wednesday June 5th, 2019 which coincides the first day of Eid al-Fitr in Syria,” the Judge said in a statement.
