Dubai, SANA- The Syrian pavilion at the Arabian Travel Market held in Dubai has witnessed a huge turnout and significant meetings on the level of expanding cooperation in tourism domains and the agreements which will be signed.
Several important meetings were held with the Iraqi, Omani and Emirati delegations during the Arabian Travel Market.
Assistant Tourism Minister Ghiath al-Farrah said that the Syrian pavilion has been visited by many of the investors who are willing to make investments in Syria, in addition to many of the tourism and travel companies.
Al-Farrah added that a meeting was held with the Iraqi Investment Commission and the two sides primarily on organizing the religious tourism from Iraq to Syria, in addition to the possibility of cooperation with regard to the many other types of tourism.
“The Syrian pavilion has been visited by many if the tourism and travel companies to get acquainted with the possibility of entering Syria and sending tourists to it whether as tourist groups or individuals of different nationalities and all the required information and facilitations were provided to them through the Syrian tourism and travel companies and the Syrian Tourism Company,” al-Farrah added.
