Moscow, SANA- The Russian-Arab Business Exhibition «ARABIA-EXPO 2019» on Monday started activities in the Russian capital city of Moscow with the participation of Syria and several Arab countries.
Russia Today website said that this economic activity aims at giving a momentum to the relations between Russia and the Arab World and to upgrade them to a new level, in addition to developing cooperation between the Russian and Arab companies.
The exhibition is being held in parallel with holding the 12th session of the Russian-Arab Business Council at the Central Exhibition Hall in Moscow.
The two activities are organized by the Russian-Arab Business Council , the Federation of Arab Chambers of Commerce, Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Russian Ministries of Industry, Economy and Energy.
During the activities of the exhibition, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov renewed his country’s “firm stance in boosting historic ties of cooperation and coordination with the Arab states, based on equality, justice and transparency.”
Meanwhile, Syrian Ambassador in Moscow Riad Haddad, said at a Syrian-Russian special work session, that the Syrian participation in the event is an assertion on the Syrian side’s desire to introduce the Syrian production to the Russian customer and consolidate relations between them.
