Damascus, SANA-Health Ministry launches a new national vaccination campaign against polio next Sunday until Thursday that targets nearly 2.7 million kid under 5.
The Ministry said in a statement that it is ready to carry out the campaign through 1945 health center and 2600 team, 8601 medical staff and 128 volunteers.
It affirmed that the vaccine is safe and is considered one of the best kinds in the world which has no side effects.
At the end of 2018, World Health Organization announced that Syria is free from polio.
