US warplanes jettison weapons and munitions to people of Ayn Arab

Washington, SANA-The US Air Force Central Command (USCENTCOM) announced that US warplanes jettisoned weapons, munitions and medical materials to the families and people who defend the city of Ayn al-Arab, north of Aleppo, where terrorists of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (Isis) try to dominate.

“Military cargo planes, of 130 C pattern, carried out several operations to throw munitions from the air,” AFP quoted the US command as saying, indicating that the aim of the move is to help the people of Ayn al-Arab confront attempts of Isis terrorists to dominate the city.”

The US military command has said that the Coalition warplanes carried out 135 raids against Isis positions in Ayn al-Arab, admitting that the situation in the city is still “fragile”.
