Washington, SANA-The White House said on Wednesday that Washington had started to pull US forces from Syria.
“We have started returning United States troops home as we transition to the next phase of this campaign,” Reuters quoted White House press secretary Sarah Sanders as saying in a statement.
“These victories over ISIS in Syria do not signal the end of the Global Coalition or its campaign,” she added.
Meanwhile, Spokeswoman of the Pentagon said ” We have started the return process of the US troops from Syria to USA.”
The United States has been leading an illegal international coalition unauthorized by the UN Security Council under the pretext of fighting ISIS terrorist organization. The majority of the Coalition’s airstrikes have instead targeted civilian locals, causing scores of appalling massacres and a large-scale destruction to infrastructure.
