Moscow, SANA- Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova expressed her country’s concern over the behavior of the US in Syria and the attacks launched by warplanes of US-led “International Coalition” in Deir Ezzor under the pretext of fighting terrorism.
During her weekly press conference, Zakharova said that warplanes of the “International Coalition” are continuing to launch intensive airstrikes against Hajin City in Deir Ezzor eastern countryside claiming the lives of scores of civilians.
She added that despite of the confirmations on the use of white phosphorus by the “coalition” for several times in shelling Hajin City, yet Washington still insists on denying these facts.
Zakharova noted that the US is still training terrorists in al-Tanf area in which its forces are deployed and it prevents the improvement of the humanitarian situation in al-Rukban Camp in which tens of thousands of the displaced are suffering from very bad living conditions.
She indicated that representatives of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent have been prevented from entering al-Rukban Camp where violence is widespread, calling upon US and European media outlets to shed light on what is taking place at the camp in an honest and frank way.
Regarding Sochi agreement on Idleb, Zakharova said that the situation in Idleb is still worrisome and despite of all the exerted efforts for implementing the agreement, there are still obstacles facing the establishment of demilitarized zone in Idleb.
