Idleb, SANA – A large explosion took place last night inside a plant in Idleb countryside used by terrorists to manufacture chemicals under the supervision of foreign experts, some of them British.
Media and local sources said that a large explosion was heard all over Idleb province after midnight, and it was revealed later that the explosion took place in a plant containing large amounts of fertilizers, explosives, and liquid chlorine in the town of Termanin near the Turkish borders.
The sources said that a part of the plant was used as a lab to manufacture explosives and chemicals under the supervision of foreign experts, including some of Turkish, British, and Chechen nationalities.
The sources said the explosion led to the death of 9 foreign experts and 2 “White Helmets” members, and that the dead were not identified accurately because the bodies were badly burnt.
The sources said the cause of the explosion is still unknown, but it’s likely to be caused by a human error during lab experiments, adding that Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists set up a security perimeter around the site of the explosion, preventing civilians from approaching.
The sourced noted that recently, al-Nusra terrorists had been transporting shipments from the aforementioned plants to unknown destinations in collusion with “White Helmets” members.
