Moscow, SANA- Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres discussed the crisis in Syria and others international issues.
There was an exchange of opinions regarding issues on the UN agenda with a special emphasis on Syrian settlement, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Monday.
Lavrov and Guterres also discussed the prospects for increasing the effectiveness of the United Nations, including its conflict-prevention and peace-making efforts.
