Tehran, SANA- Iran’s Foreign Ministry has strongly condemned the Israeli blatant aggression on Syrian territory which “poses a potent example of the crisis-seeking, lie-oriented and domineering nature of this usurping entity.”
Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Ghasemi said Friday that the “Zionist entity’s repeated attacks on Syria under “fabricated and baseless pretexts amount to a breach of Syria’s national sovereignty and territorial integrity and runs counter to all international rules,”
He criticized the silence of the countries and international community towards such acts which encourages this entity and gives it green light to continue its aggressive behaviors.
Ghasemi said that Syria has the right to defend itself “against the aggressors.”
The Syrian Arab Army’s air defenses repelled an Israeli missile aggression on Syrian territories on Thursday at dawn, shooting down scores of missiles and preventing most of them from reaching their targets.
