Head of Prensa Latina Agency stresses need to enhance cooperation with SANA

Havana, SANA – Head of the Cuban state news agency Prensa Latina, Luis Enrique Gonzalez, stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation with the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), and intensifying efforts to face the hostile media campaign launched against Syria.

Gonzalez made his remarks during a meeting with Syria’s Ambassador to Cuba, Idris Mayya, with stress laid on the need to support Syria in its war against terrorism.

For his part, Mayya hailed the role of Prensa Latina agency in conveying the reality of events in Syria to the public opinion in Cuna, Latin America and the Caribbean.

Incepted in 1959, Prensa Latina agency has today offices in 35 countries worldwide.
