Tehran, SANA- Senior Assistant to Iran’s Foreign Minister for Special Political Affairs Hossein Jaberi Ansari stressed his country’s rejection of using the allegations on the use of chemical weapons in Syria as a pretext to launch an aggression on it.
Jaberi Ansari said in statements on Wednesday that whenever Syria makes significant achievements and victories on the ground, on the political level, and in the confrontation with terrorists, there emerges a concerted tactic to use such allegations by terrorist organizations and some of the foreign players.
He referred to the threats by the US and some others states on taking measures towards the Syrian government under the pretext of the allegations on the use of chemical weapons, affirming that Iran’s stance has always been clear and that it rejects the use of the chemical weapons.
