Damascus, SANA- Syria participated in the Asia Pacific Math Olympiad (APMO) competitions on Tuesday, which is hosted by Mexico and is carried out via Internet with the participation of more than 50 countries.
The participating Syrian team includes ten members from four geographical locations: Abdelkareem al-Sayed Ramadan and Hafez al-Assad in Damascus; Mark Jabour, Ammar Fayyad, Majd Nasser, and Ammar Issa in Lattakia; Mohammad al-Hafi, Ellie Ishou, and Ahmad Khamis in Aleppo; and Jaafar Ali in Homs.
The event lasted for four continuous hours according to the system followed in the International Olympiad.
